Write a Post in WordPress

I just wanted to share the common things that I do in posting content using WordPress.
First you need to login to your website account.
Click the Post tab or Pages tab.
Click the Add New tab.
You may now start filling up the form.
Avoid duplicate title that will cause you a problem.
The big blank box there is where you will put your content that you have written, insert images and things that you wanted to display in your site.
You can select category where you wanted to post the content of your site.
Click the publish tab when your done and the post will now appear in public.
If you wanted to edit a post you need to click the post tab.
That’s it. Enjoy posting!
The Dangers of Cigarette Smoking

The numbers of cigarette smokers are getting larger and this can be dangerous for them and for those who do not smoke but can inhale the smoke which called to be second hand smoking. It’s not unknown to us that even those minors are getting involved in smoking. The reason for this is for being curious or when parents let their children buy cigarettes for them and ask them to light it up. Minors are getting involved with smoking because of what they see in seniors.
Once a person give it a try to take a single stick of cigarette and then continue to another one it will become a habit that is very hard to give up. I’ve know people who really wanted to quit smoking but it’s been a habit for them to quit. Others do a lot of effort just to quit in smoking like replacing cigarette with candy or gum.
Smokers already know that cigarette smoking is dangerous to health as it is already indicated in the package of cigarette. We can read different warnings that are indicated such as “smoking kills”, “smokers die younger”, “protect children: do not let them breathe your smoke” and other warnings that are being ignore. In Brazil they adopted mandatory warning images that can be seen in cigarette packages. See image below:
Smoking can give you a serious illness that you will regret as time goes by. It can give you a long term problem. There is a chance for you to have different kinds of cancer commonly lung cancer. It can make it worst when you have heart and blood vessel disease, and more unnecessary effect in the body.
The best way to stop smoking is to begin with ones self by thinking to quit and decide to quit. Quitting in cigarette smoking makes it really hard but you can make it slow until you became an ex-smoker. They say that once you take a single stick of cigarette you take one minute of your life.
Back to School Preparation

I know that most of the students are preparing for this coming school year. Some are so excited to go back in studying and most students are getting excited is to see their friends.
Students should know what they needed in school like papers or notebooks, pen or pencil and more. In buying we have a lot to take note, we already have heard in the news that there is school supplies that are not applicable for the user because of the chemicals used. If it is possible it is advisable not to buy plastic materials.
There are certain chemicals that are not good for the body when it was swallowed by the one who used it especially the children in which have a habit putting into their mouth.
The student should also know on how to spend less in buying their school supplies. Some of the students buy things which are not really needed in school this became excess and be wasted. It is advisable for them to use those unused pages of their notebooks last school year, in doing this they can help in saving the environment.
PPCRV Guidelines for Responsible Voting

On Monday May 10, 2010 will be the day of election in the Philippines. Filipinos should be responsible for their votes and choose who they think in the candidates can be dedicated and can be trustworthy in their field of job.
The Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) gives guidelines for responsible voting.
- Vote according to the dictate of your conscience.
- Respect the decision of others in choosing their candidates.
- Seek to know the moral integrity, capabilities and other personal qualities of the candidates you will vote for.
- Strive to understand the issues, platform and programs of candidates and parties seeking your vote.
- Not to sell your vote.
- Not to vote for candidates using guns, goons and gold.
- Not to vote for candidates with records of graft and corruption, and Human Rights Violation.
- Not to vote for candidates just because of “utang na loob”, personal appearance, popularity, or pakikisama.
- Not to vote for candidates living an immoral life.
- Put the welfare of the country above all else in choosing the candidate you will vote for.
Those are the ten guidelines taken from PPCRV. Enjoy voting and Vote Wisely!

It is important for us to see the appearance of the ballots. This can help us that before we go to our precinct so we may know if it’s the right ballot given to us.
We must also remember that when we vote we should take note of the following:
• President Vote for 1
• Vice-President Vote for 1
• Senator Vote for 12
• Party-List Groups Vote for 1
• Congressman Vote for 1
• Governor Vote for 1
• Vice-Governor Vote for 1
• Mayor Vote for 1
• Vice-Mayor Vote for 1
• Councilor Vote for 10
If your vote exceed to the following count your vote will not be valid. The count should be exact or less for the position.
